Build an App Without Writing a Single Line of Code
I just launched my startup with this tool
Coding is the new literacy.
This leaves many of those who can’t code shunned to believe that we can never start our own ventures or startups.
As we hopelessly trail behind the footsteps of coders with revenue-generating businesses. Trying to catch up and reap the same benefits. Desperately chasing after that financial independence, flexible working hours, and a possibility of having a billion dollar exit.
Well, the latter has changed.
This is actually a more approaching future than we no-coders think.
There are now tools that actually can help you to build websites, apps, newsletters and more. All tools that can help you to start your own business without a single line of code.
I’ll be writing more about this in the posts to come but as the title suggests:
Meet Adalo — Build Your Own No Code App
Adalo made creating an App a straightforward, simple and enjoyable process.
Surprisingly, it doesn’t take an enigma machine or millions of hours of typing lines of code to get a functioning App.
On Adalo, there’s tutorials for everything! I watched a few on how to add databases and (even) a button.
Once you get a hang of things it’ll be easier to use (as like all things in life).
I built an App for the elderly using Adalo called Tinderly.
The goal of the project is to provide an avenue for neglected elders to feel a sense of kinship and happiness, cultivate social engagement, and to financially assist them. With this specialised app, it also aims to connect the neglected elders back to their respective families.
On Adalo, you can add databases to create lists, change the font and colour to your preference, and create different screens for different functions (i.e. a homepage, messaging function, and more!).
I haven’t launched my Tinderly App yet since I was simply just playing around with the tool and I’m not even sure if I am going to count this as a “startup” unlike what the description of this blog suggests.
If you’re happy with your App, you can launch it on the Apple Store or Android Play Store for a fee on Adalo.
Not sure if I’m going to do that but I urge you to so that you can kickstart your business!
