Build Websites, Mobile Applications, and Newsletters without writing a single line of code —connect with other No Coders too!

No Code tools are great! It’s amazing how we no longer need a PhD in computer science to build an app, let alone a website. All it takes is a laptop and a bit of resilience to work how to use these No Code Apps.

If you want to find the best sources to build sites, mobile applications, and newsletters without writing a single line of code, then you’ve come to the right place! Alternatively, you can also find links to online communities and other useful tools (finding paid work etc) below!

I don’t want this to read like a catalogue so I’ve added a few person opinions or highlights through these: [[ ]]

Build Websites 💻

🌳 Carrd has a great selection of simple and well-designed themes so it’s easy to set up a site.

🌳 Webflow has a steep learning curve since there are a loooot of things you can do on the platform so it might take a few Youtube crash courses, Google searches and resilience to use it! — I am currently learning how to use Webflow and boy, it’s a tough one.

🌳 I’ve never used Sheet2Site but it seems pretty cool since you can easily convert your Google Sheet database into a functioning site. Whether to set up an eCommerce business, showcase a list of books you’ve read or portfolio, Sheet2Site seems to be able to do it all!

Build Apps ✳️

🌳 I made an App with Adalo and I documented it here!

Online Communities 🤝

🌳 Join No Code Founders Slack channel :) I’m personally on it most of the time! It’s quite nice to get to know and interact with people around the world whether it be to give project feedback or to ponder upon the same questions about being a startup non-technical founder

Start a newsletter 📝

🌳 A lot of tech bros on Twitter write on Substack (Exhibit A: Former Product Manager of Stripe ) — because of this, I’m considering to switch from Medium to Substack, so crisis ensues.

🌳 Honourable Mentions: Ali Abdaal , a prolific Cambridge University med grad, uses Revue to send newsletters to the thousands of inhabitants who signed up to it

I’d love to see what you end up building so feel free to email me (me@gabbiegadi.com) what you built so have fun playing with these tools :)

And if you’re in Asia, I recently created an Asia Hacker community (all skills welcome!) — a place where everyone can connect, learn and inspire each other — so feel free to join here if this is up your street :)
